Installation went very well and took 2 1/2 to 3 hours All dimensions fit very well. Seat has a built-in overall possible height adjustment range of 6 inches to allow for minor height correction ( no correction was necessary ). Installers were very courteous and both wore face masks. I was told on the day that I ordered chairlift that I could expect delivery and installation within 3 weeks and that prediction proved correct. System comes with two remote control pads. Chair is battery operated and battery recharges when chair is in upper and lower rest positions. I was told by installers that battery could last for 3-4 years. The cream colored all steel chair rail is esthetically pleasing and would fit in well with any home decor. The chair and rail in no way look institutional.
