“We needed a wheelchair lift installed in our garage for my husband. I researched various companies, and on the recommendation of my neighbor, as well as reading excellent reviews, I decided to contact 101 Mobility in Bensalem, PA. I quickly received a response and set up an appointment. Andrew and his assistant came to our house and explained our options, took measurements, and laid out the outlines of the choices so I could visualize the space.… Andrew was very patient and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and spent a significant amount of time at our home, but I never felt pressured to make a decision or purchase anything before I was ready. After doing more research and discussing our options, my husband and Indecided on the FlexStep, a staircase that converts to a platform lift and then back to a staircase. The carpenter, Steve, and his assistant removed our existing wooden stairs and raised and reconfigured the landing and railing specifically to accommodate the FlexStep. Then, the technicians, Tyler and Jorge, installed the stair/lift and took extra time to make sure everything was exactly right. Everyone whom I encountered for this project was skilled, courteous, and patient. At every step, Andrew contacted me to make sure that I was satisfied and knew the time schedule and what to expect. During each phase, everyone was on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything before they left. Within three weeks, the project was completed ahead of schedule. “My wife broke three bones in her ankle while out in Colorado. When we got her home to Iowa, we knew that we’d need to get a ramp for her right away in order for her to be able to get in and out of the house. It had taken my son-in-law’s help to get her in her wheelchair up a few a few steps and into the house. I called several places to find out about renting a ramp, but 101 Mobility was the only one that would be there the next day with the… right ramp and the right people to install it. The people who came the next day couldn’t have been nicer: professional, courteous and understanding. We needed that ramp for two months, and when the ramp was no longer needed, I called 101 Mobility again, and by golly, the next day the came and got their ramp. “Amazing! We’re happy with the RAM Crystal elevator that Grant and team installed. What a huge job! The house originally had an elevator which had no working lights. Overall it was obsolete, with the parts discontinued. Grant removed the old elevator and replaced it with a RAM elevator that has an automatic door (essential) and glass windows on one side. (He worked with our contractor to make it all happen.) It’s a gorgeous investment and fits… into the architecture of the house.
