I went to the the facility managed by Kindra and her husband Gary to ensure the product would suffice for my use. I needed this type of system since I am planning to have hip replacement surgery in the near future. I wanted to have this unit installed on 27 July 2017 to accommodate my hernia surgery. Gary came over to install the stair-lifter unit and spent approximately 5 hours installing the unit (considerable amount of work to assembling the track, the seat and the motor (battery rechargeable motor). The system I had installed in my home has now been in use in my home since 27 July 2017; it has definitely taken a lot of stress off of my healing hernia incision and makes my 16 stairs to my Master Bedroom so much easier and painless. Should have done this much sooner; it gives my hips a much needed break. The really nice part of this system is that when I get to the top of the stairs; I simply turn the chair 90 degrees to the left and step off the chair lift. Other installers charge additional for this feature. I have used this system for the past two weeks and everything works as designed. Having the final ramp protrude into the sidewalk more than was chalked was frustrating and dangerous, exposing my parents to significant liability. Getting a quote for coming out to fix the problem was not good customer service. The directions on how to remove the final pieces were not clear and we have only successfully removed the very last piece. “Dave, the installer didn't tighten down the shower grab bar. I checked it as soon as he left and it came off the wall. Thank goodness my disabled mother didn't use it and bear weight on it. That would have been a scary situation. He did come right back and fixed it and apologized...but it still bothers me that I paid alot of money to have them installed properly and a huge detail of tightening the bar to the wall was over looked. The last fix was quite expensive and then the chair just stopped working again. If I wasn't already so vested in you and the previous owner of the company I would probably look to someone else. Additionally I am trouble by the fact that I get an invoice for payment prior to any work being done. And then when I wasn't there in person I received two voicemails and about 3 emails looking for payment within a week of the technician performing the work. I find this an unusual practice for a long established customer who has always paid their bills. It is by far the biggest issues I have.
