I was still charged 425.00 .A little extreme for a senior citizen and not even a senior adjustment ,or a military discount which I thought was not right as most of these seniors are set on a very limited income. This was a lot of money for my mom. The person said that they charge this much because some units are really bad when they get there.But there was nothing wrong just oiled chain and tightened the bolts other than that everything was great. He said he had never seen a unit taken such good care of. This is why I am totally frustrated since there was nothing wrong with unit why my mom was charged so much. “There were a lack of communication and multiple delays throughout the whole period. Your company was waiting for a second payment to order the parts but no one contacted me for a payment. I had to call in to inquire about the status and then that’s when I found out my project was on hold pending a payment. We wasted a couple of weeks when someone can easily had to called me to get a payment. Also, I really wished I was told the speed of the platform lift. It takes a min and 15 seconds for it to travel 12-13 feet. That’s way too slow for me. I would of opt it for an indoor elevator if I knew. Of course, that was partially my fault for not asking as well. I just didn’t realize it was that slow. Don’t get me wrong, everybody I spoke to was very nice and cordial. “Your installer was a rude jerk! He did not care at all that he had installed the chair so that the chair lift jammed my legs into the opposite wall while going up and down the stairs. He was just going to leave it like that and leave. He could clearly see that I am very handicapped (ovarian, uterine cancer, collapsed lung) and showed no desire to be helpful about finding a solution. This company shows absolutely NO CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER. If you don't like handicapped people or do not care if they are comfortable with your product - get in a business where there are no handicapped people. “Mr. Torres is a kind gentleman who was installing our unit he arrived promptly at 10 o’clock as well as our scheduled appointment was left alone to assemble the unit till approximately 2:30 in the afternoon The unit appeared to be installed he proceeded for another hour tinkering before I finally called when 101 mobility his wife apparently answered the phone and stated that he was their best installer and that he would not be doing anything to procrastinate there because he wants nothing more than to get home to his wife The reason I called is after 230 when I came in in the unit appeared to be installed he was seen numerous times just sitting in the stairwell or leaning up against the wall with the remote cycling the unit maybe 15 times up and down and not doing anything after I called his wife he promptly packed his bags and left” Steve Kievlan Pollock Pines, CA
“I was very excited initially to try and get a lift for my mother who is 85 years old, I had seen one in a senior park before and I thought this could really be an answer for her since she lives in a mobile home where there were many stairs. One of your representatives came out name Paul we spoke of certain issues that needed to be addressed, ( cost, placement, and my mothers peace of mind ) Paul went out and measured the driveway and told my mom it would be sticking out quite a bit but she should be able to maneuver her car through it. That was a concern of ours but he stated it would be OK. My son came to do some work in my garage he is an electrician I explained to him about the lift for his grandmother he stated to check the amps that that lift would pull, because it could flip the circuit breaker and leave my mother in the middle of the left without being able to get out. I contacted Paul to talk to him about it and he acted as if I was wasting his time he stated that it would be fine and we would not need anything else with the lift however he did state that the lift pulls 8amps, I let my son know and he said it would in fact flip the circuit breaker. I again explained my concerns To Paul he stated he would send an electrician out to see what they thought, and in fact they stated it would have been flip the circuit. Several days had gone bye no one contacted my mother nor myself and each day left my mom more rattled. She then stated she did not what her house to be rewired it was just more than she could take out at 85 it doesn’t take much to rattle a senior citizen. I then called and spoke with the receptionist and explained our situation and how my mother was feeling she was scared and unsure of all that was going to happen to her home. I explained because of the electrical issue we would not be able to get the lift at this time. My mom was saying she was unable to sleep and she was having stomach issues due to the stress of a new situation. I explained and asked for the return of my $725. At no time did Paul ever say it was a nonrefundable deposit he placed the papers in front of my mom and asked her to sign them as he pointed where she was to sign I intern was writing a check. I feel that Paul was more interested in the sale of the product and then in my mother‘s best interest. As of this writing I am still waiting for the owner to contact me to see if they will in fact return my $725 I am 60 years old with a special-needs grandson living with me he is a round the clock care child I was more than willing to pay the $725 towards the Lyft which is all I had in my savings to help my mother with quality of life , but when changing wires and re-doing electrical lines were brought up that should have been discussed in the beginning, nobody should be forced to rewire their home in order to get their deposit back . It saddens me that I wonder how many other seniors have been taken by this practice . I was there and I saw how Paul manipulated the situation and never ever did he discuss a nonrefundable deposit!
