I developed multiple sclerosis about 15 years ago and have had a huge decline in the past five years. Can’t afford to move out of my house and buy somewhere else so I had a stair lift installed to get up and down my stairs. I had been falling down them frequently and becoming injured. Because of my own schedule I had the installer come out about a week later to put in the rails and the lift. He did a wonderful job and we really enjoyed him being here. He worked with me on how to use the equipment which was a very different experience than other places that have provided equipment for me. Other equipment has been left for me with no direction on how to use it. We also had grab bars and wheelchair ramps installed at my front door at a later date and the installer did not leave until he was sure we knew how to use things.
