We requested a replacement chair and were told that this option was not possible. So, we requested a return of merchandise and was told that his restocking fee was 40% of the purchase price. We tried to negotiate without any Luck, this percent down to the standard 10-20 percent that other merchants may charge if any due to the fact that we had the chair only a day. We arranged for the chair to be picked up and returned for a minus 40% refund. The service people came and started to hall away the recliner when I was presented with a refund check that was minus 60% of the original purchase price. We were not about to lose over a thousand dollars for a Lift chair we only had a couple of days. We decided to keep the chair and when the service people put it back together, they put the back piece on correctly this time enabling the chair to work properly.
