“I can’t tell you how important it was to get the stair climber we got from 101 Mobility. My husband had been slowly going up the stairs on his own… with great difficulty. One day he fell as he tried to to take the first step.. Fortunately he was not injured..but if he had taken this fall a step or two higher.. he could have been severely injured or worse. I called 101 mobility and we had a stair climber installed several days later. It was the… best investment we could have made. A few months ago it suddenly stopped running… 101 mobility came out the next day and replaced the rollers… our unit was purchased used. It ran well before…and ran even better after the repair. “Purchasing the stairlift for my home was simple and easy. The sales representative Erika is the reason why. Every detail was explained and when she didn’t have the answer, she put me in contact with the office staff who further assisted me. Her measurements were spot on and nothing else was needed. “I have had difficulty with the original installation company to get service for my porch lift. I saw 101 mobility recommended on Nextdoor so what did I have to lose. I gave them a try. They requested pictures of the entire unit along with the serial number, which I sent. They promptly made an appointment (unfortunately the first one was not convenient for me as I would be in the hospital having surgery). However, I really needed this fixed as… walking steps during recovery would be dangerous. They came out and IMMEDIATELY identified the first issue and had the lift in motion in seconds. I also mentioned the safety plate had been disconnected which concerned me. In no time the y had that addressed as well. And, wouldn’t you know it, there was never a permit pulled. This was dine in 2017. They had proactively pulled the permit and got us up and running legally! The repair fees were very reasonable with the additional fee for pulling the permit a bit more they were prompt, kept me informed, professional, and knowledgable. I felt so confident I have asked them to put me on a yearly maintenance contract. I HIGHLY recommend them for any of your stair lift or porch lift needs.
