“In my opinion, receiving really good customer service, coupled with a quality product is quite an uncommon occurrence these days. That’s why when I experience both, I feel compelled to share that experience with my family, friends, and other consumers. Such has been my experience with 101 Mobility of Houston and the Stiltz home elevator they installed for me. Even though our owner’s suite is on the first floor of our two-story home, my… wife and I didn’t want to limit our, and our guests’ access to guest bedrooms and several other areas of our home that are on the second floor, due to mobility issues associated with traversing the 16 stairs between the two floors. So, I researched reasonable options for retrofitting our home with an elevator, as installing a stair-lift on our curved staircase was not an option that appealed to us. I found Stiltz home elevators, subsequent related videos, and testimonials from others with the same requirements, online. I contacted two local Stiltz authorized installers; one provided by the U.S. Stiltz office in Pennsylvania and one I found via Google. While the home visit by both companies was quickly accommodated by both companies, I chose 101 Mobility of Houston primarily because of the great follow-up by Chris in their office, and the amount of time that Marine (their CEO) spent listening to my requirements/expectations, answering my questions about Stiltz while also providing alternatives, and demonstrating a level of detail that assured me of her/their knowledge and experience with the Stiltz product. Prior to signing a contract, Marine thoroughly explained the construction/installation process and timeframe. She also emphasized everything her team would do to limit the impacts of their work to the area in which they would be working. Marine was onsite to oversee key construction stages, and her construction team (Victor, Edwin, and Marcos) led by Rosa and Hermes, was not only professional and courteous but did extremely precise and clean work in preparation for the actual elevator installation. Likewise, Brent was onsite to oversee key assembly and operational aspects of my elevator installation by Aaron and Edwin, and they too were just as professional and courteous; additionally, Brent and Aaron are experts on virtually every aspect of the Stiltz line of elevators. With our elevator now in service and being used daily, excessively (on purpose), we can say that we’re more than satisfied with every aspect of our experience with 101 Mobility of Houston and our Stiltz home elevator! The installation was performed so neatly, and the elevator itself is so sleek in design, it not only meets our functional requirements but is also very aesthetically pleasing in our home. On a final note, I can also confirm that 101 Mobility of Houston’s after-sales service is equally as prompt, responsive, and thorough as it was prior to me signing a contract… now, THAT (again, in my opinion), is extremely rare today! “My wife has Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) a neurodegenerative disease, causing issues with movement and balance, leading to a non-ambulatory state and eventually requiring assisted wheelchair use to move around our two story house. All bedrooms are on the second floor. After a number of months discussing ramps, stairlift and elevator options with a number of other major local suppliers, we settled on 101 Mobility to address my wife’s… medical home improvement needs. Marine at 101 Mobility promotely and very professional addressed and dealt with our architectural issues, aesthetic concerns and medical requirements. None of the other better known suppliers came close to trying to meet our complete needs nor appeared capable of doing so. 101 Mobility installed a Stiltz Trio and metal ramp. The Stiltz Trio accommodates an occupied Golden Cricket Wheelchair and a second person. They also supplied and installed grab bars and bed rails. Everything was professionally and quickly installed by the team at 101 Mobility and any subsequent “operator errors” and minor service issues quickly and patiently resolved. After eight months of constant use of all of the equipment supplied by 101 Mobility we are completely satisfied with its utility in meeting the medical needs of my wife’s progressively deteriorating situation. “The technician arrived promptly at the time of the appointment, and immediately got to work. He explained the problem with our neglected and overused chairlift as he repaired it. Additionally, he provided tips to avoid future problems. We were receiving constant alarm tones from it, however, i could not diagnose the problem. The technician repaired the problem, cleaned the rails, and greased the wheels. He was gone after test drives of the lift.… Very professionally done and handled.
