Straight stairlifts start around $2,500 for a pre-owned unit and $4,500 or more for a new model, depending on the brand and features. Curved stairlifts are custom-built to your staircase and generally start around $13,000. Rentals are available from $195 per month for short-term or post-surgical situations. Pricing varies by home, so a free in-home assessment is always the most accurate starting point.

A standard straight stairlift can be installed and safety-tested in under two hours. Curved and custom installations take longer because the rail is built to measure, typically a few days from measurement to installation. Most customers are sorted within a week of their first call.

In most cases, no permit is required for a standard stairlift installation in Arizona, as the rail mounts to the stair treads rather than the home’s structure. We hold a ROC License #331291 and manage all compliance requirements as part of every job.

Yes. Straight stairlift rentals start at $195 per month, which suits recovery situations, short-term visits, or anyone who isn’t ready to commit to a purchase. A rent-to-own option is also available if you decide you’d like to keep the unit.

Private health insurance rarely covers stairlifts. Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS) waiver programs and VA grants may cover certain products for eligible residents. We can help you work out whether you qualify before you make any decisions.

Straight stairlifts run on a single rail and suit staircases with no bends or landings. Curved stairlifts use a custom-built rail that follows the shape of staircases with turns, intermediate landings, or spiral sections. Curved models cost more because the rail is manufactured specifically for your staircase. We’ll assess your stairs during the free consultation and tell you exactly which type you need.

Yes. Outdoor stairlifts are built from weather-resistant materials rated for sun, heat, and rain exposure. Given Phoenix’s climate, we pay particular attention to heat tolerances and UV ratings when recommending an outdoor model. Both straight and curved outdoor configurations are available.

Yes. We carry aquatic pool lifts designed for residential pools. Arizona’s extended swim season makes these one of the most common requests we get for outdoor access. Pool lifts are rated for UV exposure and heat, and we’ll advise on the right model for your pool deck configuration.
