Featured Mobility Products in Raleigh, NC

Most of the homes we work in across the Triangle are multi-story — townhomes in Cary, two-story Colonials in Wake Forest, older split-levels in Durham and Chapel Hill. Stairs that felt fine at 55 feel different at 75. We’ve done thousands of these jobs since 2011, and our team — the same people who answer the phone, do the consultation, and handle the installation — lives and works here.

Our Top Mobility Solutions for Raleigh Residents

After 15 years in the Triangle, we’ve worked in almost every kind of home. The older townhomes in Cary, the two-story builds in Apex and Holly Springs, the custom homes in North Raleigh. What they have in common is stairs, and stairs are what we spend most of our time solving.

Our most common jobs are stairlifts (both straight and custom curved) wheelchair ramps, vertical platform lifts, and home elevator-style lifts. We also carry auto lifts, patient lifts, ceiling lifts, power wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, grab bars, and bathroom accessories. Rentals are available on ramps, straight stairlifts, and manual wheelchairs. Every residential installation includes our one-year limited service warranty, and financing is available through Hearth.

All our installers are our own employees, not contractors. The person who quotes your job and the person who installs it are part of the same local team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Used straight stairlifts start from around $2,900. New straight stairlifts start from $4,500. Custom curved stairlifts are built to your specific staircase — the length, number of turns, and landings all affect the price, so we give you an accurate quote after the free in-home assessment. No obligation.

A straight stairlift is typically installed in a few hours once the unit arrives. Custom curved stairlifts take longer because the rail is manufactured to your staircase measurements. We’re generally on site for the free assessment within a week of your call.

Yes. Straight stairlift rentals are available for post-surgical recovery, short-term needs, or as a way to try before you buy. Ramp and manual wheelchair rentals are also available. Call us for current rates.

NC CAP/C and CAP/D Medicaid waiver programs may cover certain home modifications and mobility equipment for eligible residents. Coverage depends on your specific waiver, your diagnosis, and what’s been approved in your plan. We’ve worked with a lot of families navigating this, and we can help you ask the right questions.

Yes. The VA HISA grant provides up to $6,800 for home improvements for eligible veterans. The Special Adaptive Housing program covers larger structural changes. We’ve helped more than 1,100 veterans across the Triangle access this funding. Call us and we’ll walk through what applies to your situation.

Preserving Home is a North Carolina nonprofit that helps qualifying low-income homeowners fund critical home modifications, including accessibility work. We partner with Preserving Home and can connect you with them during your consultation if cost is a barrier.

A straight stairlift works on a staircase that goes directly from floor to floor without any bends, turns, or intermediate landings. A curved stairlift has a custom-manufactured rail that follows your staircase exactly — around corners, past landings, along unusual angles. Curved stairlifts are more expensive because every rail is built to order. We’ll tell you which type suits your stairs during the free visit.
