Our most common jobs are stairlifts (both straight and custom curved) wheelchair ramps, vertical platform lifts, and home elevator-style lifts. We also carry auto lifts, patient lifts, ceiling lifts, power wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, grab bars, and bathroom accessories. Rentals are available on ramps, straight stairlifts, and manual wheelchairs. Every residential installation includes our one-year limited service warranty, and financing is available through Hearth.

Mike and Allison Spears are both local — Mike is a CAPS-certified NC State graduate, Allison graduated from Meredith College here in Raleigh. Custom curved stairlifts are built to your specific staircase — the length, number of turns, and landings all affect the price, so we give you an accurate quote after the free in-home assessment. A straight stairlift is typically installed in a few hours once the unit arrives. Custom curved stairlifts take longer because the rail is manufactured to your staircase measurements. We’re generally on site for the free assessment within a week of your call.

Yes. Straight stairlift rentals are available for post-surgical recovery, short-term needs, or as a way to try before you buy. Ramp and manual wheelchair rentals are also available. Call us for current rates.

NC CAP/C and CAP/D Medicaid waiver programs may cover certain home modifications and mobility equipment for eligible residents. Yes. The VA HISA grant provides up to $6,800 for home improvements for eligible veterans. The Special Adaptive Housing program covers larger structural changes. Preserving Home is a North Carolina nonprofit that helps qualifying low-income homeowners fund critical home modifications, including accessibility work. We partner with Preserving Home and can connect you with them during your consultation if cost is a barrier.

A straight stairlift works on a staircase that goes directly from floor to floor without any bends, turns, or intermediate landings. A curved stairlift has a custom-manufactured rail that follows your staircase exactly — around corners, past landings, along unusual angles.
