“We finally came to the conclusion that for us to ‘age in place’ we needed to have a stairlift. I chose this company because they were a family-owned operation, and, it turns out, I made a good choice. The owners, Eddie (Fouad) and Shereen, and later, a new hire, Nick, were immediately responsive to my initial enquiries, right through to installation and follow-up. They gave me a timeline, and this timeline was kept. The installation went well,… and the installers, Emmanuel and Raul were friendly and cheerful. (Fun aside: After the work had finished, we were chatting a bit, and Emmanuel saw the wall-hanging we had of Kukulcan, the Mayan God – and suddenly I was learning stuff I never knew – Emmanuel was telling me things about it and pointing things out that I had never noticed in 30 years of looking at it!) Anyway, back to the issue at hand. We are delighted with our stairlift! My husband uses is out of necessity and I use it for convenience – hauling heavy groceries, laundry baskets, etc. – and it’s kinda fun! “They brought 2 options to see which would work best. The 10 foot is working well to get out of the house with my scooter. They also recommened an item from Amazon which closes the gap on the door threshhold. My husband had to modify it slightly, but it’s now smooth going in and out of my house.”
