“101 Mobility of Alabama goes above and beyond! Genuine, caring people provided exceptional service installing a power lift for my dad’s wheelchair-accessible vehicle. They took the time to teach us how to use it and shared valuable tips. Their Christian faith shines through. Highly recommend!”

“101 Mobility earns 5 stars! Chris gave a thorough in-home consultation on equipment, installation, and pricing, showing professionalism and compassion. Their top-notch products and service were excellent. They were very accommodating when I needed to reschedule the installation due to my wife’s illness.”

“We love our new 101 Mobility stair lift! My husband is no longer confined at home. Chris explained everything thoroughly without pressuring us to buy, which we appreciated. Compared to other companies, 101 Mobility offered a great product at a fair price. We’re thrilled with our purchase!”

“Just WOW! My parents had 101 Mobility install a complete lift system for my brother in his living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and the customer service from 101 Mobility is hands-down the best! My parents called them back to install the same, but more simple (one rail) lift to get my aunt from her bed into her wheelchair. HIGHLY recommend them and wouldn’t use anyone else.”

Frequently Asked Questions

We provide a variety of ramps, including threshold ramps, portable ramps, and aluminum modular ramps. We offer residential and commercial ramp solutions. Our experts can help you determine the best ramp based on the height of the steps, the mobility device you use, and your personal preferences.

Some of our ramps are designed to be portable and can be easily moved or adjusted as needed.

Measure the distance from the top step/landing to the ground (RISE). ADA recommendation is to have a 1:12 slope. This is a foot of ramp for every inch of rise. For example, if you need a ramp to the porch and it is 24” from the ground, you will need a ramp approximately 24’.

Residential ramps are 36” wide and have two-line handrails. Commercial ramps are 48” wide and have handrails with vertical pickets. Commercial ramps must be used in public buildings.
