An estimate of 6 weeks wait was given when placing my order which turned out to be over two months wait with me calling for updates on tracking and being told someone would get back to me which they never did. An office worker telling me they couldn’t track a shipment after it shipped, and only after me questioning that fact and stating I found that hard to believe, was I told the person who could get that info was not there and they had no way into the system to check. Lack of communication even with payment information (I provided the required info on day of installation yet was contacted two weeks later being told I still owed the balance. Yet it was lack of communication among your own staff that created that issue! I left a voicemail with a supervisor 4 business days ago regarding some significant concerns regarding installation and have yet to hear back. So I would say improvements on communication would have made my experience much better!”

We had a nice conversation about college football afterwards. He was thorough and took me back to the warehouse. He made me fell comfortable. I had an install appointment for 3:00 pm and received a call at 3:02 pm that the installer would not be able to make the appointment. The installer was working out of town. Their was ample time, because the installer was 'out of town' to notify me prior to the appointment time, instead of after. I had already taken time off work and was home. The installer would have known at least an hour before my appointment that he would be unable to make the appointed time. He indicated that he would not have arrived until sometime between 7-8 pm. Thus, it would seem I could have continued to work and rescheduled. Also, I believe every customer should get a written warranty as confirmation prior to or at least at the time of install., irrespective of whether the unit if new or used. The warranty was/is extremely important to me as the stairlift is not for my personal use, but my mom's and it is something that will not be used as often as most would. It is an expense I have incurred to make my mom comfortable when she comes to visit. If it was something that would be used daily, the expense would seem more "worth it." I asked for a written warranty several times, but did not receive it until after the purchase through an email request. The one I initially received was not what was expressed to me, nor was the warranty I did eventually receive. My notes, and my recollection indicate that I was promised a one year warranty. I received six months...the 3 months was totally unacceptable. I would not have made the purchase with only a three month warranty. I was not going to comment on my experience, but when I received the second request, I am commenting so that you can evaluate if there are improvements that can be made and also to acknowledge that there were "positives" as well. I would want to know if I was running a business.”

Within a week left arm of the chair is not being able to be uplifted and that is blocking my stairs and going up and down is a problem for rest of the family. It has been almost a month and no one has come to fix it. They did call and say that they have ordered a part which fixes the remote sensor. And I did get a reply email saying you are in line to get things fixed. But I was not expecting this from this stairlift and in general from this company.
